Outcome: The anaerobic oxidation-aerobic process, combined with BBA's efficient bacterial enhancement technology, was applied to treat the severely polluted water of new Yongding River. The aim was to explore methods for the resource utilization of similar polluted water bodies to address the current severe water shortage situation. Experimental results indicate that this process can effectively remove indicators such as COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand measured by dichromate method) and chromaticity from the water. However, it is incapable of removing heavy metals present in the river water.
